Alex's Quilt

This is the quilt I stitched and finished for my oldest grandson, Alex. His mommy loves Sesame Street and I found all of the kits at AC Moore,(http://www.acmoore.com/)or or on Ebay, (http://www.ebay.com/). The fabics were purchased at my local WalMart.

My Personalized Sampler

This personalized sampler was designed for me by Stephanie Twillman from the "123 message board" (http://www.nouveauencore.com/).
I love the way she took the story of my family and made this "one of a kind" sampler that I get to put my own "spin" on.
I'm stitching it with Vicki Clayton Premium Silks, (http://www.hand-dyedfibers.com/). The main color is a varigated green with the details being done in a variety of gorgeous color tones.

This is the finished project. I managed to get all the stitching done in 4 months! It now hangs proudly over our fireplace.
